Terms & Conditions
The housekeeping that keeps training safe, fair and simple for everyone. Here's the short version, with the full details below.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to everyone who uses tribefitnessmead.com or trains with Tribe Fitness LLC. In these terms, "Tribe Fitness," "we," "us" and "your trainer" mean Tribe Fitness LLC and its owner and coach, Samuel Moses. "You" means the client.
By booking a consultation, buying a package, taking part in any session or checking the box on our booking form, you agree to these terms. If you've also signed an intake form or waiver with us, those documents work together with these terms. If they ever conflict, the signed document controls.
2. Services
Tribe Fitness offers complimentary consultations and assessments, one-on-one training (in the studio or live virtual), small group training and in-home training in the Mead area. All sessions are 60 minutes unless we agree otherwise.
Sessions are scheduled based on availability. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone when we believe it's necessary for safety, health or a good working relationship. If we end services for reasons that aren't about your conduct, we'll refund any unused, prepaid sessions.
3. Your health and safety
Tribe Fitness is not a medical provider. Our assessments, corrective exercise and pain-reduction work are coaching, not the diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition. You should talk with your physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, a recent surgery or injury, or are pregnant or postpartum.
You agree to tell your trainer, honestly and completely, about any injuries, medical conditions, medications or symptoms that could affect your training, and to let us know right away if anything changes. We may ask for written medical clearance before you start or continue training.
During any session, stop and tell your trainer immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or anything else that doesn't feel right. In an emergency, you authorize your trainer to provide basic first aid and to call emergency services on your behalf, at your expense.
4. Assumption of risk
Exercise involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, joint and back injuries, broken bones, heat illness, heart attack, stroke and, in rare cases, death. Some of these risks come from lifting weights, using equipment, moving quickly or training in a home garage, your own home or a space you choose for virtual sessions.
You understand these risks, you're choosing to participate voluntarily, and you accept all risks of training with Tribe Fitness, whether known or unknown. You're always free to slow down, modify or skip any exercise.
5. Release of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Colorado law, you release, waive and agree not to sue Tribe Fitness LLC, Samuel Moses and anyone working on their behalf for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage to you or your property that arises from your training, use of equipment or presence at the studio or any training location, including claims based on ordinary negligence.
You also agree to indemnify and hold Tribe Fitness harmless from any claims brought by others that arise from your participation. This release does not cover gross negligence or willful and wanton conduct.
6. Clients under 18
Clients under 18 need a parent or legal guardian to agree to these terms and to attend the first consultation. By booking for a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms, including the assumption of risk and release, on the minor's behalf to the extent allowed by Colorado law.
7. Payment and packages
Prices are listed on our Training & Pricing page and may change from time to time. A price change never affects a package you've already bought.
Payment is due in full before your first session of any package, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, Zelle and Venmo.
Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sessions expire 12 months from the date of purchase, and any sessions left after that date are forfeited.
If an injury, medical issue or major life event keeps you from training for a while, reach out. At our discretion, we may pause your package's expiration date.
8. Cancellations, rescheduling and late arrivals
Life happens, so all you need to do is give at least 24 hours' notice by text or call to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed sessions, are counted as a used session.
If you arrive late, we'll do as much as we can in the time left, and the session still ends at its scheduled time.
If your trainer needs to cancel or reschedule, you'll get as much notice as possible and your session will be rescheduled or credited back to you. You'll never lose a session because of us.
9. Small group training
Group sessions are priced per session for the whole group, and the group decides how to split the cost. A group session runs as scheduled as long as at least one member attends, and the full group rate applies. The 24-hour cancellation policy applies to the group as a whole.
Every person in a group must agree to these terms individually and complete their own consultation or health intake before training.
10. In-home training
For in-home sessions, you agree to provide a safe, clear space with enough room to move, adequate lighting and a stable floor. Please keep pets secured, and make sure children are supervised by another adult during the session.
Your trainer may modify, move or end a session if the space isn't safe. Normal exercise can scuff floors and surfaces, so we recommend mats, and Tribe Fitness isn't responsible for ordinary wear or damage to your home or belongings. Please don't use our equipment without your trainer present.
11. Virtual training
For virtual sessions, you're responsible for a safe training space, your own equipment and a working video connection. Your trainer can coach and correct you, but can't physically spot you, so choose loads conservatively and stop any set that doesn't feel right.
12. Studio guidelines
The Tribe Fitness studio is a private training space at a residence and is open by appointment only. Please arrive at your scheduled time, park where directed and check with your trainer before bringing guests or children.
Treat the equipment and space with respect, and re-rack what you use. Personal belongings are brought at your own risk. A very friendly dog named Claire may be around, so let us know if you have allergies or would rather she stay inside.
We expect respectful behavior from everyone. A session may be ended, or training discontinued without a refund, for harassment, unsafe behavior or training under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
13. Nutrition and results
Any nutrition guidance, including habits, calorie targets and macro targets, is general wellness coaching and not medical nutrition therapy. Your trainer is not a registered dietitian. If you have a medical condition, food allergy or a history of disordered eating, check with your doctor before changing your diet.
Everybody responds differently. Results depend on consistency, sleep, nutrition, stress and many other factors, so specific results are not guaranteed. Client results and testimonials on this site are real, but they aren't promises of what you'll achieve.
14. Photos, video and testimonials
Your trainer may record short videos or photos of your movement to coach your form. These stay private between you and your trainer. We will never post your name, photo, video or story publicly without your permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.
15. Privacy and confidentiality
Your personal and health information is kept confidential and used only to provide your training. We don't sell or share it, except with your consent or when required by law. Information submitted through forms on this website is processed by our website provider, Squarespace.
16. Website and program content
The content on this website and the programs, workouts and materials we create for you belong to Tribe Fitness LLC. Programs written for you are for your personal use. Please don't copy, share, sell or publish them without written permission.
Online programming through the Strong Parent Collective is purchased through strongparentcollective.com and is covered by that site's own terms.
17. Changes and legal details
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Updates apply from the date they're posted, but they never reduce sessions you've already paid for.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and any dispute will be handled in Weld County, Colorado. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
